How's that New Year's Resolution going? Still on track? Well I'm here to admit that mine has gone totally off track, but that's not how it has to be!

Generally speaking, it seems that when talking about New Year's Resolutions, the connotation tends to be geared towards fitness, but that's not always the case. I personally have already found myself losing sight of goals I made for this year. The most major of which was to ramp up my blogging and try to increase my online presence. Now, I do have a somewhat legitimate excuse for being a bit distracted in that over the past few months I've got married as well as bought and sold a home. But the key word in that sentence is "excuse." Because when you get down to it, that's what it is. I got sidetracked and let myself lose focus of something that's very important to me. But that also doesn't mean it's too late for me to get back to work and start trying to help people in whatever way I can. So I hope that maybe you'll read this and it'll give you the kick in the butt you may need to reestablish your focus on whatever goal(s) you set for yourself just a short month or so ago. Maybe your life's circumstances have changed and that old goal no longer holds relevance today. But I'm willing to bet that if you're honest with yourself, it's still just as important, you just got distracted. If so, I want you to just take a second and reflect on why you set those goals and why they were important to you in the first place. Tomorrow's a new day, and that means that tomorrow is the next opportunity to set that goal back into motion!
